OVERVIEW
When your volunteers first begin, they’ll have many questions: “What am I supposed to do? Is this where God really wants me? Will I be of use here? Why are we expected to participate in all this training?” You may have questions, too—like how to ensure your volunteers get the information they need, and how to ensure they’ll continue to volunteer for years to come. Answering these questions—both before and throughout orientation—is the key to succeeding from the start.
This tool is adapted from "Helping Volunteers Get Started," a Promiseland Conference workshop by Otis Price. Promiseland is a ministry of the Willow Creek Association.
